Retailers wanting to use QR technology to engage mobile-equipped shoppers face a major challenge. How do you cost effectively implement the program across a large and diverse supplier network while maintaining a consistent in-store mobile experience for your shoppers?
ClikGenie overcomes this obstacle by providing retailers with custom designed mobile microsite formats, which can then be populated at any time by content supplied directly from the vendor. In this way, retailers can specify the look and feel of the sites e.g. retailer logo placement, links, menus, color schemes but have suppliers upload their own content e.g. images, text, video which conform to microsite format rules.
To further insure a consistency across all vendor products, ClikGenie provides an integrated label program. Once the vendors have uploaded their content to the microsites, QR codes are assigned and they can then order retailer-branded stickers to apply to products prior to shipping. Having a consistent in-store product marking scheme insures higher shopper adoption rates and in turn more opportunities to communicate with your customers.
The program works on a vendor bill model with no cost to the retailer. After working with the retailer to establish the microsite and data rules, ClikGenie provides customer support to the supplier network. This support eliminates the need for any retailer interaction with the vendors relative to the QR program. Vendors are billed on a monthly basis depending upon the number of products supported. Because of the aggregate size of the retailer network, these costs are well below what a supplier would incur to develop their own QR program.
